Adventure Tours Ski Park Zlatibor
The are better mountain resorts in Serbia, but for a young child learning to ski for the first time, probably no better place than Adventure Park in the town of Zlatibor in Western Serbia. We spent a long weekend there and Ella learned how to ski so well she was going down the medium run by the last day. One of the advantages of Adventure Park is that it is all inclusive. You book your lesson times and the helmet, boots and skis are included, so there is no need for a separate trip to the ski rental.
The instructors seemed very patient and had fun during the lessons. Ella took private lessons for the weekend and had the same instructor for all. She caught on very quickly having two, two hours lessons a day — one in the morning and the other early afternoon. There is also a restaurant at the bottom of the beginner ski run so the parents can sit in comfort having a coffee or rakia while watching the kids compete there runs.
There are a number of modern condos for rent in Zlatibor which can be found on the travel sites such as hotel.com or Trip Advisor. If you refer back to a recent post, “Disaster in Zlatibor you will find out why we do not have a specific recommendation for a room (LOL). There are a number of places to sled there as well if skiing is not your thing. In the summer Zlatibor becomes a typical winter resort town, with zip lines and hiking and biking trails. You will find the town quite similar to a ski town in the US. There are numerous restaurants in Zlatibor most have over 4.5 ratings on Trip Advisor. More about our favorite Grand in a later post.
