Burger Craft

Our daughter wanted a burger.  We didn’t really want to go out.  So we tried Burger Craft and Wolt the delivery service that is carbon-free all at the same time and we enjoyed both!

Wolt

This is a bicycle delivery service in Belgrade.  So not sure the exact delivery range but the web site provides you the restaurants in your service area.  It was easy signup, that only took a few minutes to complete.  Then you get to ordering.  It was easy to order and then you can choose to pay by card or pay with cash with the order arrives.  Before you order you get a projection of how long it will take before your order arrives.  The projections that evening was under an hour.  Once the order is complete you get a countdown of when the order will arrive that keeps updating.  Right on time the order arrived and was brought up to our apartment without any issues.  The order was still warm perhaps not as warm as if it was brought to your table in the restaurant but acceptable based on the delivery.

Burger Craft

We ordered two cheeseburgers, one hamburger, two orders of onion rings and a french fry.  I ordered two rings because the picture on the web site showed three rings in the order, in fact, there were eight or so in each order, plenty for one order.  The onion rings were excellent.  Some of the best I have hand any were.  Perfectly breaded with a very tasty breading, they were excellent.  They have a number of other sauces you can order but being a ketchup guy with my rings I didn’t try any of those.  The fries were just fair at best.  Perhaps better when hot in the restaurant.

The burgers were amazing.  Five napkin burgers for sure!  Falling apart by the end so juicy and everything in the burger made you feel like you were eating a burger at your corner burger joint in the US.  They use Gouda cheese which I was skeptical of before I tried the burger.  The cheese really worked perfectly.  I have even used it now with quesadillas and it works perfectly.  They have their own brand of bottled beer and I had a couple of their Irish reds delivered.  Yes, in Serbia the delivery services can bring beer.  You have to go through the difficult verification process of checking the box to say you are old enough to by beer 😉
