Belgrade Hilton

On the way home from having my bandage changed and the cast put on my broken ankle, we wanted to take a break and sit outside and enjoy the early afternoon. It is hard to find a place to park in front or near any restaurant during the weekdays in downtown Belgrade and then we passed by the Hilton with a parking garage and went for the easy solution.

We found a wonderful place overlooking the craziest intersection in Belgrade, Slavija Square. It has a history over the last 200 years, but now is a traffic circle with no lights to control flow, eight roads intersecting, pedestrians crossing all the streets, and shared with a tram line. A total disaster.

It was a perfect day and the Hilton roof deck is a great place to spend it and have a few drinks. The Sky Lounge is also known for having the best sushi in Belgrade. I would not recommend the sushi; however, but I love the bar for sure. We have not find an excellent sushi restaurant in Belgrade yet.

The staff is helpful and took good care of our needs. There are many other items on the menu and from looking over several reviews some of those are excellent. If you need a place for a drink in the old city of Belgrade, this is a good option.
