So It Goes In Serbia
Getting repairs complete in Serbia takes a lot of work and patience. It is never done on time once you can get someone there. Especially if it is warranty work to fix something they should have done in the first place. You can wait for months.
We are in the middle of getting a few things done now. The large balcony was not level and when it rained leaked into two of the bedrooms. We had the leaked from the roof as soon as we moved in. Those now are fixed but the inside ceiling was never repainted. We moved the place where the light fixture in the ceiling was placed and needed to be painted and they said they would do it all at one time. Plus the carpenter had several small issues to work on.
We have had the title guy leveling the balcony and putting in a new tile floor for four weeks now, with all our outdoor furniture inside. It was supposed to be done in four days. The painters come and go. We never really know when they will show up and the carpenter is working on a project for our architects in France. Hopefully, he will return soon.
As I remain a prisoner in my cast for another week.
