The fish are back in Town
We have new fish! A whole boatload of them. We killed the first batch of fish. Mainly, because the guy that is great at designing the aquarium does not know anything about fish and what they need. Also, we bought a jar of fish food that we find out was mostly paper, so it seems the fish ate each other till we only had three left.
My wife saw these great aquariums at the Doctors office in our building, and another at our Dentist’s office and started asking about who was taking care of these. We found out and got in touch with him and he is a real fish/aquarium fanatic. Having ten of them on his own. Then there is his wife who loves parrots and has at least three of those. So a family that has a whole lot of indoor pets.
He came earlier in the week and cleaned the tank, which he will do now every two months and he takes everything out and then puts it all back. After letting the water settle for a few days he brought the new fish. We must have 100 now and they are just fantastic. They were from his own tanks so we think they are healthy.
The aquarium looks great now, we have learned a lot from this guy about feeding and taking care and he seems like he knows what he is doing which is evident by the other aquariums he manages. When we feed them it is pirhanas going for a cow’s leg. They seem much more active and happy than the last group.
