Hotel Fruske Terme

This has to be the most expensively bad hotel I have ever had the district pleasure to stay in. Advertised as a spa and water park, there was no architect involved and you can see that with one walk-through. My ten-year-old can design better on Minecraft. Plus, they forgot to hire someone that had hospitality/hotel experience as the manager. We had to ask every day at least three times for housekeeping services….new towels, taking out the trash, restocking the minibar. We found out that they usually only service a room at check out not daily as every other hotel and we expected too much.

The garage to park your car is a quarter of a mile away and you have to walk up three double sets of stairs to get to the Hotel Entrance. There is an entrance to the water park there on the ground floor a block from the garage. You could take the elevators up from there, but Hotel guests can not use that entrance even though we have an armband to get through the gates. It is the entrance for only the daily pass swimmers.

Several of the staff were very friendly, I can not complain about them. The food was excellent both the buffet and the ala cart. They have a restaurant across the street as well that has a lovely outdoor space. Based on the price and the lack of and the fact that it really isn’t a water park just a number of pool with some slides that are not open all the time, I would not recommend the hotel.
